This is a process of diode laser energy targets the dark pigment in the hair follicle, where the light energy is absorbed and converted into thermal energy (heat). This energy heats the hair follicle such an extent that it disables the hair follicle (the source of life for each of the hairs on the body) and causes the hairs gradually fall out. The Tria laser is equipped with a patented form of this technology called Diffuse Radiance Technology, which is coherent light and scatters it. This unique technology makes the device safe Tria laser product class I instead of a dangerous Class IV laser.

Welcome to the website. Here you’ll learn all about Brazilian Laser hair removal and the benefits and costs of having it done. You will find how to shop for a clinic or spa that specializes in this and what to expect after you have completed your sessions. Thank you for stopping by. You are most likely interested in the Brazilian style hair removal done by laser. And let me tell you even in Brazil they are using a permanent laser more and more rather than the traditional waxing method.

Best Laser Hair Removal
Four types of lasers are currently used for hair removal. They are: Alexandrite, Ruby, Diode, and ND and LP ND Yag. These are FDA approved. Long pulsed lasers are known to be the safest. But between pulses is when the skin and hair follicle cools. The diameter of the light on your skin affects how fast the laser can work. Larger helps the light go deeper giving better results. Skin type is a big consideration with laser hair removal as it works best for those with dark hair and light skin.

Laser Hair Removal System
It’s not a one-time thing, but you won’t be going back forever, either. In just a few sessions you will be noticeably different. Most people generally need between three and five laser hair removal sessions before they can see permanent results. You should wait about four to six weeks between sessions. Less painful that most other types of hair removal, laser is well accepted in many clinics.

Laser Hair Removal Prices
Just as spa sessions vary, laser hair removal prices do, too. Some practitioners charge bases on pulses, or the length of a session. Other have package deals you can buy. And many times it simply depends on how much hair you have to remove. As a rule of thumb, look for costs from $200 to $500 per treatment. Location in the country is also a consideration.

Laser Hair Removal for Men
Now popular for men who have a lot of hair on their back, legs or chest, and especially athletes, hair removal is well accepted in different sports. Laser hair removal for men is practical because they are already waxing, so this will be a cost-effective way to get permanent removal. Not all men are good candidates for hair removal. Lighter skin and darker hair are ideal.

Laser Hair Removal Back
If you have back hair, you know that it can get irritated, you might not like how it looks, or you simply want it off permanently. Laser hair removal for back hair is done in around six sessions and you will see significant improvement from the first session. Many men opt for this as it is a time saver as well. Muscles show better and skin feels smoother with laser hair removal for your back. Men also opt for chest hair removal by laser if they have excessive chest hair or want to better show off their physiques.

Using a laser for hair removal is not only less painful than waxing and tweezing, it is also more cost effective and efficient than shaving every week for 50 years. Even if you do not want to go to a clinic, you can get laser hair removal home products that work great. A clinical study evaluated the use of the LightSheer Diode Laser for hair removal. Of 92 patients, all had temporary hair loss and 89% had permanent hair reduction.

Laser hair removal has come a long way since the first laser for hair removal received FDA clearance in the mid 1990′s. Older generation lasers were very slow, very painful and worked only on individuals with very dark hair and very light skin. In 1993 Robert Grove, Ph.D., and a team of dermatologists and engineers developed the first diode laser for hair removal utilized by physicians in their medical practices. These devices are still considered the gold-standard among dermatologists and plastic surgeons.

The hair and skin colour, the amount of hair, and the sex of a person determine the number of sessions required for long-term reduction of hair. Typically, a series of multiple treatments is required; usually 5-7, but the number could go up to 12. During this brief period, laser light will shine down onto your skin and the energy will travel down the hair and into the follicle where it will damage the follicle and prevent any further hairs from growing. A mean hair removal efficiency of 74% and 79% is noted at 3 and 6 months, respectively.

Laser facial hair removal for women is better than electrolysis because it is far less likely to leave small scars on the delicate skin of the face. A tiny scar on the back of a thigh will be unnoticeable, but one on an otherwise well-groomed face can stand out as unpleasantly as a rogue hair does. The procedure involves the use of a laser that dissolves the fat and tightens the surrounding skin.

The FDA (Food and Drug Administration) has approved both the long pulsed diode and Nd: YAG laser systems for laser-assisted hair removal in darker skin phototypes. However, irrespective of the type of laser used, multiple treatment sessions are required in order to effectively eliminate the hair. GentleYAG HR for unparalleled hair removal; GentleYAG SRT for skin rejuvenation and tightening through wrinkle reduction; or the GentleYAG VR for superior leg and facial veins removal. All models are upgradeable.

Almost 1.5 million laser hair removal procedures and more than 0.6 million laser skin resurfacing procedures are performed. And then there’s shaving, a simple solution that hasn’t changed much since our grandmothers’ time, although marketers at razor companies are forever trying to convince us otherwise. As laser hair removal is done while causing localized damage to the skin around the follicle of the hair, it is absolutely normal that the treatment comes with some unwanted side effects. Normal side effects are itching, redness and swelling around the treatment area.

Laser hair removal is truly state of the art. And to tell you what I think is the best laser hair removal would have to be the long-pulse systems. They seem most effective. This is a high-tech method for getting rid of unwanted hair, excessive hair, or hair you just are tired of always tweezing or waxing. So far, laser hair removal is the only method that has been proven to keep hair gone from large areas of the body, including the back, legs, chest and face. And it is generally within the budget of most people for something as permanent as this.

The best treatments work for people with light skin and black or dark brown hair, but it may work for others. Laser clinics can tell you their experience with your skin type. It’s important to visit their website, then email questions, or call them and find out if your skin type will work for them.

There is an at-home FDA approved laser hair removal system that I’ve found does a very good job and may be right for you. It is called the Tria Laser Hair Removal system. It cost around $600 and is the only one at this writing that is designed for at home use.

The Tria is probably a good choice if you’re fair skinned and have darker hair. You’ll need six to eight treatments, just like at the spa, and you’ll need to space them out like the spa would advise as well. One thing I found with even the best laser hair removal is that occasional maintenance treatments are needed and with the Tria, you can do it yourself, or with a friend, without having to pay for more sessions.

Don’t think laser hair removal is painless. Most clinics will apply some sort of topical anesthesia or a skin flattener during your session. This relieves the pain. So with a home unit like Tria, naturally we’re not going to have the pain killers the clinics use, but you can set the unit to work at a lower setting. This is the main reason treatment takes a few sessions longer than when at a spa or clinic.

This device isn’t FDA approved on people with dark skin. It can cause pain and injury. I found it very cool that the Tria laser hair removal device comes locked from the manufacturer. You have to call them to get the unlock code. And at that time they coach you on how to use it best. Europe and Asia have had such a device for a while and it’s nice to see one available for this market.

So if you don’t opt for the Tria, shop for a nice clinic and ask if they use the long pulse laser which I believe is the best laser hair removal system. Then find out how they are covered in case of a mishap or if you buy a package, and move or get sick, how the refund system works. Make sure you have a phone number for them and are communicating well with someone there you can voice your concerns, if any.
